Das Fest. You are invited to the party.

"What is the point of a celebration? The union of two people, the beginning of a life, the end of a life – and yet, I have experienced birthday parties, weddings, even funerals, where the form was so important that the content, the people had no place.

Imagine an evening during which the form is turned completely upside-down and only content remains. A celebration of what makes us who we are: Our past and our desires for the future. A real party. Das Fest."

Each spectator chooses a memory from their own life. Something striking or unspectacular, the choice is theirs. At the same time, they also choose a dare. Something they would like to do but don’t dare to do yet.

Participants volunteer or are chosen randomly. Oberlohr reveals their memories piece by piece and reconstructs them with the help of the whole audience. And something else happens: He finds out what their dares are.

This evening turns strangers into friends. Just as a good party should do.
